Out on a stroll by Aiden Schmidt

Slowly and silently, I strolled down the street.
The cobblestone clacked under my feet.
The moon, so full shined over my head.
The night, so silent, all sounds they were dead.
My house I had reached, I took out my key,
And something inside really surprised me.
In the mail I received, I had gotten a letter,
And that day, oh my, could not get better.
As the jaws of happiness gripped my soul,

I went back out the door and went back on a stroll.
