The pink glass stone by Sigalit Cassuo

In a land far away,
Lived a man and his dear fiance’,
It was a very rich village,
They were quite privilege.

One day the man went hunting,
And as he was humming,
He ran into a cave,
Inside was a woman, who appeared very brave,
She had long silky brown hair,
She seemed quite fair,
So pale,
She made you exhale.

She seemed to be dreaming,
The man leaned down towards her,
And in the dark she was gleaming.

The man jumped up,
As she woke up,
He held her gaze just for a moment,
And the man seemed to be frozen,
Locked in the trance of her deep green eyes,
He knew what he was about to do, would no be wise.

Before he could make a decision,
The woman spoke up, and he listened,
My husband has a heart made of paper thin copper,
The man couldn’t stop her,
As she screamed,
As if she woke up from another dream.

The man said, madam are you alright?
The woman answered, no,
My husband is practically dead,
He will never forgive, for the sin I have done,
Was such a horrible one.

I let him have a heart made of paper thin copper,
And no love is left in his heart,
It’s like he threw in my a heart, dart.

The man listened carefully,
Sitting down gracefully,
But all of a sudden he tripped,
A there was something his hand had gripped.

It was a pink glass stone,
Lots of light it had shone,
What do you think it is? Asked the man.

But the woman was already jumping in excitement,
The man saw the woman’s face brighten,
The woman said, this is the stone of my dreams,
As tears came down the woman’s face in streams,
This will cure my husband, she said,
And with that she left the cave without dread.

The man had no idea what just happened,
And he suddenly found himself napping,
For he had entered the cave of dreams,
And won’t be woken up till his true love comes,

By all means.
